This third release in our limited-run KEXP Vinyl Club pairs Seattle alternative rock band Suzzallo with the Berlin-based Afro-souls and jazz collective Jembaa Groove. Formed by acclaimed singer-songwriter Rocky Votolato, Suzzallo cathartic performance features tracks from their 2025 debut, The Quiet Year—Voted one of the top albums of the year by KEXP listeners. Jembaa Groove delivers a vibrant, infectious blend of traditional West African rhythms, American Jazz, and soul. While these two bands explore vastly different sonic landscapes, both harness the power of music to bridge worlds. Enjoy.
