Liner note message from Jake:

"A few years ago, Michael came to London from LA. We met at his place and talked into the night about memory and cameras and how much longer wehave to live and other Vsauce-shaped things, and somewhere in between, an idea surfaced: what if we put every Jake Chudnow track ever used in Vsauce onto vinyl? We didn’t know how many tracks that actually meant — we imagined maybe one record, a small offering for the people who’d been listening all those years.
Over the following months, we spent well over a hundred hours combing through 600 videos, digging through ancient hard drives whose source files wentas far back as 2004, bouncing them into hi-res. We unearthed what we thought was everything, and released more than 90 tracks across five records.
But soon messages started appearing from listeners who had spotted tracks we’d missed. Tiny, half-buried moments of music hiding under narration or tucked between cuts. And then, for 18 months, a small group of people helped me hunt down every one of them. They created cross-referenced archives, spreadsheets, sometimes they remembered track names better than I did.

…Asier Septién (SpartaYoshi), Evan Jordan, David Procházka (oxozone79), Ellie Hedge, Josh Doray, Mexicanrat5431, nog642, Tyler Pilkinton (OrangeRiver), Christian Bradley Hubbs (Astronomus), Sébastien Matos (Matoseb), AMathMonkey, Henry Trowbridge, BrahimMagma.

To all of you: thank you. Your curiosity, precision, and dedication brought these songs back into the light.
We’ve pressed them into reclaimed vinyl, giving new life to both the music and the material.

Thank you for listening, then and now."
- Jake
