Orchestrated Energy offers a rare glimpse into the vaults of Dday One, the Los Angeles based producer known for his sample based compositions and meditative approach to rhythm. Released in honor of the 20th anniversary of his debut album Loop Extensions, this collection assembles early and unreleased works created during the formative years of his practice.

Recovered from mini discs, zip drives, and cassettes, these tracks capture the raw essence of Dday One’s sound: layered, textural, and deeply intentional. Built entirely on hardware samplers, each piece reflects a process rooted in vinyl excavation, silence as structure, and the physicality of beatmaking.

Original cover art by Belgian collage artist Ben Coosmans mirrors the spirit of the music, nonlinear, archival, and enduring.
