I've chosen 1991, Not necessarily as the year has my favourite albums, but mainly as it has the album Peggy Suicide, the start of Julian Cope's golden period, it summed up Britain in the 1980's. It was also a great year for gigs I was living at the Elephant Castle, and was excellent for getting to gigs, Camden, New Cross and Brixton not far away.
