Packaged in a standard jewel case with a 28-page booklet, which is enclosed in a paperboard long box on which is printed the Sgt. Pepper cut-outs. The original LP inner sleeve design is reproduced on booklet page 27.

The rear of the booklet credits the composition of all tracks, except 8, to Lennon/McCartney. The liner notes are more specific about who wrote each song.

Track durations are not printed on the artwork, but are derived from the CD player.
