Version notes
This is the 2nd pressing from 2001 on Down On Haley Records. The text on The Ataris side of the insert says:
"these are not new ataris songs. they are old demos that i recorded on a 4-track with a drum machine sometime between 1994-1996. i used to give my demo to bands i was into in hopes of finding a drummer. the vandals got a copy and passed it on to some drummers they knew. got a call from derrick, said he liked the songs. moved to santa barbara and recorded our first record. the first line-up of the ataris lasted around six months then we all just went our seperate ways.
met some good friends in santa barbara who helped me get my feet on the ground and started the band over again from scratch. we've been together for over three years now and have pretty much tourted all over the entire world with all our favorite bands. thanks to all my family, friends and fans. without you i would probably be dead or still living in my old van parked somewhere on garden st. jungle fish is mike's old band. his brother is the singer. barney wrote the lyrics to elvis was a skinhead. mike branch came up with the band name. joann pawned the 4-track and the drum machine now belongs to joey. the van went to armchair martian. www.theataris.com
