My first record was the Muppet Movie soundtrack that I received for learning how to tell time back in 1978. I’ve listened and collected vinyl ever since.
I have a couple of Numark TT100 turntables in the living room and a Stanton Str8-80 in my bedroom on a Marantz 2230 with some bookshelf Klipsch speakers mounted on my wall above the headboard.
After a little break, I started collecting vinyl records again around 2006. I store them in the classic IKEA Expedit 8 box shelf system in the living room. I have the 4 box system I’m my bedroom. My daughter has my 16 box system. When the time comes and I have a enough records, I’ll transfer over to the 16 box expedit.
I love record store day. I think it has helped out the record industry.
